Cole Dillon, a sophomore catcher/designated hitter from Rockwall, Texas, was named the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference's Position Player of the Week for March 12-18. Dillon returned to the Highlander lineup for the conference series against Weatherford after missing eight games due to injury. In four games last week, he had a .417 batting average with six RBI. In his first game back, he was 1-3 at the plate with two RBI and a walk. In the 8-0 run-rule win over the Coyotes, he was 2-4 with a double, two RBI, a run scored, a walk and a stolen base.
