
The McLennan Highlassies dropped this afternoon's game to the Angelina Roadrunners 68-57 in Lufkin.
The game was close through the first quarters. McLennan led 19-13 at the end of the first, and the game was tie at 26 at the half. The Highlassies would hold the one-point lead at 40-39. Angelina exploded in the fourth, outscoring McLennan 29-17 at the fame to seal the win.
Mersadez Nephew led McLennan with 12 points. The Highlassies return to action Monday, hosting Cedar Valley at 4 p.m.
