24 McLennan athletes named to NTJCAC All-Academic Team

Twenty-four McLennan Community College student-athletes representing six McLennan sports were named to the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference (NTJCAC) All-Academic Team for 2018-19.

To qualify, student-athletes must have completed three semesters with a minimum of 36 hours of college credit and have a GPA of 3.25 or higher while participating and lettering in at least one season of a varsity-level sport.

McLennan's honorees, by sport, are:

Baseball – Daniel Cole, Levi David, Alex DeLeon, Brooks Embry, Vince Ippoliti, Grant Miller, Max Mize, Thomas Santos, Aidan Shepardson, Payton Strambler and Jordan Yeatts

Basketball (Men) – Garrett Shaw

Basketball (Women) – KeeKee Nowlin

Golf (Women) – Elin Eriksson and Briana Venegas

Golf (Men) – Andrew Lane, Trenton Leffingwell and Mathias Lorentzen

Softball – Charley Avery, Genisa Marrero-Carter, Madison Hill, Emily Klanika, Olivia Lantigua and Kaitlin Richards
