McLennan pitcher signs Letter of Intent

McLennan Community College baseball player Paul Kirkpatrick signed a National Letter of Intent to play for Western Kentucky University next fall.

Kirkpatrick, an Austin native, transferred to McLennan from Wake Forest University. The right-handed pitcher earned a 3-2 record with a 6.61 ERA and 39 strikeouts while appearing in 20 games as a freshman for the Demon Deacons.
