Highlanders remain third in NJCAA poll

The McLennan Highlanders baseball squad continues to rank third in the latest NJCAA Division I Baseball Rankings with an overall record of 28-7.

Dyersburg State (Tennessee) remains first with an overall record of 32-3. Chipola (Florida) moved up two spots to second this week with a 32-7 record. Chattahoochee Valley (Alabama) moved into the fourth spot with a 28-8 record and Crowder (Missouri) rounds out the top five with a 29-8 record.
Grayson, a Region V opponent for the Highlanders, jumped up seven spots to 10th this week with a 22-8record. Odessa, also a Region V team, fell from second to 11th this week with a 27-7 record. 

Panola (29-7) from Region XIV at 12th and Midland (24-9) from Region V at 18th are the only other Texas schools in the poll. San Jacinto is receiving votes.

The Highlanders travel to Weatherford tomorrow for a 1 p.m. doubleheader and will complete the four-game series with the Coyotes with a 1 p.m. doubleheader at Bosque River Ballpark Saturday.
