Highlander's Breaux earns Cape Cod League award

McLennan Baseball's Josh Breaux is the recipient of the  2017 Silva Sportsmanship Award from the Cape Cod Baseball League. The Silva honoree is selected annually by the umpiring staff and is presented to the player who shows true class on and off the field and is a well-respected athlete and individual within the league. Breaux has appeared in 35 games for the Falmouth Commodores this summer, recording a .271 batting average with nine doubles, six home runs and 24 RBIs. He has also pitched three innings, picking up a save with eight strikeouts and 0.00 ERA.
