Highlanders’ Martin earns conference weekly honor

McLennan Baseball third baseman/designated hitter, Garrett Martin, has been named the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference's Position Player of the Week for March 17-23.
 
Martin, a freshman from Denver, Colorado, had a .857 batting average in the two games at North Central last week. He recorded a triple and two home runs while picking up six RBIs and scoring six runs in the Highlanders' sweep in Gainesville.
