McLennan and Hill split today's baseball doubleheader in Hillsboro.
McLennan came from behind to take the opener 5-2 with Stevie Doty getting the win.
Hill scored both of its runs in the bottom of the fourth. Samuel York walked and scored on a double by Dryden Fuoco. Tanner Cooper then doubled to score Fuoco.
The Highlanders took the lead with three runs in the sixth. Brennon Seigler and Sam Jenkins hit back-to-back homers. Cooper McEnroe singled and Brock Lulewicz walked. Ness followed with a single to score McEnroe.
McLennan tacked on two runs in the seventh. Peyton Firgens walked, and Seigler followed with a two-run homer.
Game 2 was an 8-0 run-rule win for the Rebels.
Hill scored one in the bottom of the fifth as Fuoco singled and scored on a double by Trent Thompson.
Another Rebel run scored in the sixth. Bryce Deason reached on an error, advanced to second on an error and moved to third on a ground out by Chad Pantuso. Deason then scored on a wild pitch.
Six runs in the bottom of the seventh gave Hill the walk-off win. Jeziel Serrano walked and Cooper was hit by the pitch. Both runners advanced on a balk and scored on a single by Thompson. Kilian Ridle doubled, and Deason singled to score Thompson and Ridle. Pantuso followed with a single to score Deason. Pantuso stole second and scored on a double by Thomas McHugh, ending the game.
