McLennan Dance Company finishes third in Team Performance, fifth in Hip Hop

The McLennan Dance Company scored an 8.835 to finish in third place in Team Performance Division III at the NDA Collegiate National Championship in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Blinn College (Texas) finished in first place with 9.268, followed by Ramapo College (New Jersey) in second with 8.991

Other team scores: St. Ambrose University (Illinois), fourth, 8.740; Barton Community College (Kansas), fifth, 8.672; Central College (Iowa), sixth, 8.595; New York University, seventh, 8.571; and Iowa Central Community College, eighth, 8.512.

In Division III Hip Hop, McLennan scored an 8.473 to finish in fifth place in the preliminary round.

Midland University (Nebraska) finished in first place with 8.955, followed by St. Ambrose University (Iowa) in second with 8.768 and Davenport University (Michigan) in third with 8.673. These three teams advanced to the finals.

Other team scores: Oklahoma City University, fourth, 8.478; Central College (Iowa), sixth, 8.183; University of Pikeville (Kentucky), seventh, 8.173; and Baker University (Kansas), eighth, 8.055.
