McLennan athletes receive fall academic awards

More than three dozen McLennan Community College athletes were named to the school's Distinguished Honors and Honors lists released today for the fall 2015 semester.

The Distinguished Honors List is reserved for students who have completed more than 12 semester hours and achieved a 3.8 or higher GPA. Students who completed 12 or more hours with a 3.5-3.79 GPA are named to the Honors List.

Honorees by sport are:

Baseball – Daniel Bullard (distinguished honors), Justin Garcia (distinguished honors), Chris Glover (honors), Tucker Johnson (honors), Pau Kirkpatrick (honors), Brock Morrison (honors), Nic Motley (honors), Dimas Ojeda (honors), Chris Roller (honors) and Collin Sharp (honors)

Men's Golf – Drew Dewald (distinguished honors), Cory Donnell (honors), Ryan Johnson (honors), Kade Miller (distinguished honors), Kyle Revis (distinguished honors), Brandon Schafer (honors), Blake Stock (distinguished honors), Tyler Uhlig (honors) and Kyle Waldrip (distinguished honors)

Softball – Marisa Flores (honors), Theresa Gonzales (honors), Victoria Gonzales (honors), Makayla Hernandez (honors), Elizabeth Svienty (honors), Haley Webre (honors) and Kayleigh Williams (honors)

Dance – K'Julon Echols (honors), Molly Hodgden (distinguished honors), Breanna Nelson (honors), Macey Reed (honors) and Ally Watson (distinguished honors)
