McLennan Dance Team makes program history with double national titles

For the first time in program history, the McLennan Dance Team claimed two National Dance Alliance (NDA) National Championships in the same year.

The squad claimed the Team Performance Junior College Championship Friday evening with a score of 89.075. Blinn College was second with 87.05 and Riverside City College was third with 85.2.

Earlier in the day, the team won the Jazz Junior College Championship with a score of 92.5143. Utah State University Eastern was second with 91.3143, Riverside City College was third with 87.5714 and Odessa College was fourth with 87.2571.

This marks the eighth consecutive year the team has claimed a national title and 14th time overall.
