McLennan men’s basketball receiving votes in NJCAA poll

The McLennan Community College men's basketball team is receiving votes in the latest NJCAA Division I Poll released on Tuesday

Vincennes University (Indiana) remains in first, followed by Northwest Florida State College in second and College of Southern Idaho in third. Butler Community College (Kansas) and Hill College (Texas) sit in fourth and fifth, respectively.

Odessa College (10th), Trinity Valley Community College (19th) and Lamar State College (25th) round out the Texas colleges in the poll. San Jacinto College and Howard College are also receiving votes.

The Highlanders have an overall record of 16-3 and are 1-0 in conference play. They continue conference play tonight, hosting Ranger College at 7:30 p.m.
