Highlanders, Highlassies basketball players earn all-conference honors

Eight members of the McLennan men's and women's basketball teams were named to the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference All-Conference teams.

For the women, sophomore point guard Kaylin Roher was a first-team all-conference selection. Forward Caylinne Martin was named Freshman of the Year and a second-team selection. Sophomore guard Kendra Wynn and sophomore forward Adrienne Drake were honorable mention selections.
 
On the men's side, sophomore guard Jalen Jones and freshman guard Alex Mills were first-team selections. Sophomores, guard James Harrison and forward Ricardo Artis, were second-team selections.

The Highlanders will take on New Mexico at 2 p.m. on Thursday in the opening round of the Region V Tournament at Howard Payne University in Brownwood. Live video streaming of all tournament games will be provided by PSB Live at www.psblive.com.
