McLennan basketball up to 11th in NJCAA poll

The McLennan Community College men's basketball team moved up one spot to 11th in the latest NJCAA Division I Poll released today. 

South Plains (Texas), a Region V opponent for McLennan, remains in the top spot, followed by Hutchinson (Kansas) in second, Georgia Highlands in third, and Moberly Area (Missouri) in fourth. San Jacinto (Texas) moved into fifth this week. Tyler (17th)  and Odessa (18th) are the only other Texas schools in the rankings. 

The Highlanders are 15-0 on the season and will return to action Dec. 30, hosting Angelina at 6 p.m. The next rankings will be released Jan. 10.
