Highlanders continuing to receive votes in NJCAA poll

With an overall record of 16-3, the McLennan Highlanders continue to receive votes in the NJCAA Division I Basketball Poll.

South Plains (Texas) continues to hold the top spot, followed by Mineral Area (Missouri) in second and Odessa (Texas) and third. Coffeyville (Kansas) and Tallahassee (Florida) round out the top five at fourth and fifth, respectively.

Grayson, a conference opponent of the Highlanders, is ranked 24th this week. Trinity Valley, the only other Texas schools in the top 25, is 12th. Panola, Navarro, Collin, and Kilgore are all receiving votes.

The Highlanders will host Texas Wesleyan JV at 7 p.m. Thursday before finishing the conference season Saturday, hosting Grayson at 4 p.m.
