Highlanders break into rankings in final NJCAA poll of the season

The McLennan Highlanders, with an overall record of 25-3 and 12-1 in conference play, are No. 24 in the final NJCAA Division I Men's Basketball Rankings of the season.

Salt Lake (Utah) remained at No 1, followed by Indian River State (Florida) at No. 2. Kilgore (Texas) and Dodge City (Kansas) both moved up one spot to No. 3 and No. 4, respectively. John A. Logan (Illinois) fell two spots to No. 5 this week.

Odessa (24-5), a regional opponent for the Highlanders, is up one spot this week to No. 8. Hill, a conference opponent of the Highlanders, is receiving votes.
