Highlander Basketball's Smith named Player of the Week

McLennan forward Omarion Smith is the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference's Player of the week for Feb. 12-18. The 6-5 freshman from Douglas, Georgia, recorded a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds in McLennan's 73-57 win over Collin. He also had two steals and two blocks in the game.
