Highlanders' Shogbonyo named Player of the Week

McLennan freshman guard Nick Shogbonyo is the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference's Basketball Player of the Week for Feb. 19-25. Shogbonyo was 8-16 from the field, 1-5 from 3-point range and 8-10 from the free throw line to lead the Highlanders with 25 points in the 76-68 win at Temple. In the three games last week, he scored 54 points, snagged 18 rebounds and recorded 14 assists.
