It was a low scoring first half between the Highlanders and Harvester Bees. Eastfield opened on a 4-0 run and led 10-7 with 13:19 to play in the first half. McLennan pulled away with a 12-0 run over the next six minutes including four points from Joe Burgess. Eastfield cut the lead to six with three free throws but Kenneth Morrast's 3-pointer from the wing pushed it back to nine, 22-13. The Highlanders would take their largest least of the half on a floater by Burgess with 1:26 to go before the break and led 33-23 at intermission.
The Highlanders led by nine, 40-31, with 17:22 remaining in the game. Eastfield rallied with a 5-0 run to cut the lead to four, 40-36 with 16:30. McLennan broke the game open with a 13-0 run highlighted by three two t3-pointers from Amare Banks and one from Aiden Law to gup up 53-36 with just over 13 minutes to play. The Highlanders pulled away, leading by as many as 23 as they cruised to the easy victory.
Amare Banks led McLennan with 18 points. Joseph Mayberry III and Howard Gaskins Jr. scored 16 points each.
