McLennan Basketball sweeps conference awards

McLennan Basketball has swept the players the North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference's Player of the Week honors once again.

Lanaijha Johnson is the women's award winner. The sophomore from Center recorded two double-doubles in three games last week. She had 18 points and 15 rebounds against Coastal Bend, and 22 points with 11 rebounds against Frank Phillips. She also had 14 points and four rebounds against South Plains.

Joseph Mayberry III grabbed the men's award. The sophomore from Lancaster scored 16 points with three rebounds and an assist against Eastfield; 22 points with six rebounds and a steal against Western Texas; and 15 points with nine rebounds, an assist and a steal against Kilgore.
