Highlanders finish in sixth at NJCAA Southwest Championships

The McLennan Highlanders shot 302-297-301 – 900 to finish in sixth place of the NJCAA Southwest Championships at the par-72, 6,973-yard Tanglewood Resort in Pottsboro, Texas.

Odessa finished in first place with 295-287-286 – 868, followed by Midland in second with 291-296-296 – 883 and New Mexico in third with 297-296-297 – 890.

Hunter Shattuck shot 73-72-72 – 217 to lead the Highlanders and finish tied for fourth place.
