McLennan golf team ranked in preseason poll

McLennan golf team ranked in preseason poll

The McLennan Community College men's golf team is ranked fourth in the Bushnell Golf­week Preseason NJCAA Division I Coaches Poll released Friday.
 
Eastern Florida is ranked first, followed by Indian Hills and Odessa in a tie for second.
 
New Mexico (10th) is the only other NJCAA Region V college ranked in the poll. Western Texas and Midland are receiving votes.
 
The Highlanders finished tied for second in the 2015 NJCAA National Championships and will open the fall season at the Andrews Collegiate Amateur on Sept. 19-20 in Andrews, Texas.
