McLennan golf team ranked third, Stock records hole-in-one

The McLennan Community College men's golf team ranks third in the latest NJCAA Division I Golf Poll.
 
Indian Hills holds the top spot, followed by Eastern Florida State in second
 
Odessa (fourth), Midland (tied for fifth), Western Texas (tied for ninth), Paris (15th) and New Mexico (18th) round out the NJCAA District 2 colleges ranked in the poll.
 
McLennan sophomore Ryan Johnson is ranked fourth among the individuals in District 2. Augustin Holé of Odessa is first, followed by Stefan Cronje of Midland in second and Elliott Fullalove from Western Texas in third. Adam Blommé of Odessa rounds out the top five.
 
Highlander sophomore Blake Stock recorded a hole-in-one on Hole 5 at the Twin Rivers Golf Club on Thursday. Stock, a Midway graduate, scored an albatross earlier in the fall.
