McLennan men's golf finishes sixth at national preview

The McLennan Highlanders shot 297-286 – 583 to finish in sixth place at the Platinum Pipe NJCAA Preview hosted at the par-72, 7,478-yard Odessa Country Club.
 
Ranger finished in first place with 289-275 – 564. Hutchinson (292-288 – 580), Midland (293-287 – 580) and Odessa (293-287 – 580) finished in a three-way tie for second.
 
Freshman Holden Hamilton shot 69-75 – 144 to lead the Highlanders and finish tied for ninth place.
