Mikeska tabbed PING All-American

McLennan men's golfer Mason Mikeska was named an NJCAA Division I PING Honorable Mention All-American by the Golf Coaches Association of America.

Mikeska, a sophomore from Waco and Midway High School alum, competed in six tournaments and a dual match for the Highlanders before the spring season was cut short. He claimed three top-10 finishes this season including a tie for first place in the Dr Pepper Classic and a tie for second place at the TJC Fall Invitational. He was also named a 2019-20 North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference (NTJCAC) Academic All-Conference Team and an NJCAA Division I PING District II All-District selection. As a freshman, Mikeska competed in all 10 tournaments and both of the Highlanders' dual matches, finishing tied for fourth place in the Dr Pepper Classic. He was also an NJCAA All-Academic Second-Team honoree.
