McLennan men's golf ranked No. 9 in Bushnell Golf Pre-Spring Poll

The McLennan men's golf squad is ranked ninth with 19 points in the Bushnell Golfweek NJCAA Division I Pre-Spring Coaches Poll released today by the Golf Coaches Association of America.

Hutchinson (Kansas) claimed the top spot with 70 points, followed by Odessa (Texas) in second with 53 points and Indian Hills (Iowa) in third with 48 points.
Eastern Florida State and Midland (Texas) round out the top five with 47 and 41 points, respectively.

McLennan, Odessa and Midland all compete in NJCAA Region V along with Western Texas, coming in eighth with 24 points. Ranger and New Mexico, also Region V competitors, are receiving votes.

The Highlanders are scheduled to open the spring season at the Claude Jacobs Invitational Feb. 14-15 in Victoria.
