McLennan Highlanders holding steady in Bushnell Golfweek poll

The McLennan Highlanders continues to hold on to the No. 9 spot in the latest Bushnell Golfweek NJCAA Division I Coaches Poll.

Hutchinson (Kansas) was the unanimous No. 1 selection, followed by Odessa (Texas) at No. 2 and Eastern Florida at No. 3. Indian Hills (Iowa) and Midland (Texas) round out the top five.
 
McLennan, Odessa and Midland all compete in NJCAA Region V along with Western Texas, coming in at No. 7, and New Mexico at No. 10 Ranger, another Region V competitor, is receiving votes.

The Highlanders were scheduled to open the spring season at the Claude Jacobs Invitational this weekend but it was postponed due to inclement weather. The Highlanders next tournament is the Ranchland Intercollegiate March 2-3 in Midland.
