McLennan Highlanders claim Blinn Invitational title

The McLennan Highlanders shot 291-288 – 579 Monday to claim the team title at the Blinn Invitational held at the par-72, 6,647-yard Brenham Country Club.

Houston-Victoria finished in second with 291-296 – 587, followed by Tyler in third with 301-297 – 598.

Highlander freshman Liam Gobin shot 70-68 – 138 to claim the individual title.
