McLennan Softball team, 14 players earn NFCA academic honors

The McLennan Softball squad and 14 players were named to the 2021-22 Easton/NFCA Academic Awards list released Monday by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association. McLennan's team GPA of 3.69 ranked sixth among the 50 teams honored at the junior college level.
 
The NFCA recognized 5,527 players from across the country as 2021-22 Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete for GPAs above 3.5. McLennan's 14 honorees included: Anissa Arredondo, Caitlin Bradley-Tse, Sidney Campion, Cheyenne Floyd, Julia Herzinger, Sydney Kirby, Jalie Neff, Kennedy Parker, Erin Plunkett, Riley Rutherford, Madelyn Saven, Rachel Warren, Matalyn Wolkow and Caitlyn Wong.
