The post-season awards continue to pile up for the McLennan Softball squad. Three Highlanders were selected to receive the 2024 NJCAA Rawlings 2024 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I Rawlings Gold Glove Award®. Freshman Trinity Allen and sophomore Katia Reyes were recognized as infielders, and freshman Mickayla Tosch was recognized as an outfielder.

Tosch, an outfielder from Rosenberg, played in 57 games for the Highlanders, recording a .372 batting average with 10 doubles, seven triples, six home runs and 51 RBI. She had a perfect fielding percentage.
Recipients of the Rawlings Gold Glove Award®, presented by the NFCA, were selected by the NFCA's NJCAA Division I & II All-America Committees, following regional voting to identify the finalists at each position. The groups utilized fielding statistics and school-submitted video to closely examine finalists and select the winners at every defensive position. Any student-athlete that competed in the current championship year and was nominated by their head coach who is a member in good standing with the NFCA was eligible for consideration for this prestigious accolade.
