McLennan Softball holding at #4 in NJCAA Rankings

The Highlander Softball squad, with an overall record of 34-5 and 18-2 in conference play, remained #4 in this week's NJCAA Division I Rankings.
 
The top five teams all held their ground this week: Florida Southwestern, #1, 33-1; Northwest Florida State, #2, 44-2; Indian River State (Florida), #3, 27-4; McLennan, #4, 27-4; and Grayson (Texas), #5, 34-4.
 
Other Texas teams ranked include: Trinity Valley, up one to #6, 37-5; Odessa, up one to at #9, 23-4; Temple, steady at #12, 30-11; Paris, down one spot to #15, 37-7; Weatherford, down one to #18, 25-9; Galveston, steady at #21, 22-8; and Tyler, up one to #24, 26-12. Midland is receiving votes.
 
McLennan continues conference play Wednesday, traveling to Hillsboro for a 1 p.m. doubleheader at Hill.
