Highlanders remain at No. 9

McLennan Softball remained at No. 9 this week with a 16-6 record. Grayson (Texas), a conference opponent of the Highlanders, moved up to No. 1 with a 19-1 record. Northwest Florida State (28-1) slipped to No. 2, and Northeast Alabama (16-0) moved up one spot to No. 3. Florida Southwestern State (19-3) moved up one spot to No. 4, and Indian River State (Florida) fell two spots to No. 5 with a 17-3 record.
 
Other Texas teams ranked: Trinity Valley, down one spot to No. 7, 18-2; Paris, holding at No. 10, 23-3; Galveston, up two spots to No. 11, 16-0; Odessa, up four spots to No. 12, 12-4; Blinn, down six spots to No. 13, 12-4; and Temple, up one spot to No. 14, 16-4.
