McLennan Softball holding at No. 5

McLennan Softball remains at No. 5 this week with a 24-6 record following the bye week.
 
Northeast Alabama (31-1) moved up one spot to No. 1, followed by Northwest Florida State (37-3) and Florida Southwestern State (31-5 both moving up one spot to No. 2 and No. 3, respectively. Grayson (Texas) fell three spots to No. 4 with a 30-4 record.
 
Other Texas teams ranked: Temple, up one spot to No. 7, 28-4; Trinity Valley, down one spot to No. 8, 31-5; Odessa, remaining at No. 16, 24-7; Paris, up three spots to No. 17, 29-9; Blinn, down four spots to No. 19, 20-10; Weatherford, up two spots to No. 21, 25-7 and Galveston, down four spots to No. 23, 26-10. Midland is receiving votes.
