Highlander Softball No. 8

Highlander Softball (36-10) slipped three spots to No. 8 in the NJCAA National Rankings. 

The top four teams remain the same: Florida Southwestern State, 45-5, No. 1; Northwest Florida State, 50-4, No. 2; Northeast Alabama, 43-3, No. 3; and Temple (Texas), 42-6, No. 4. Trinity Valley (Texas), 46-6, climbed four spots to No. 5.

Other Texas teams ranked: Grayson, down one to No. 9, 39-8; Odessa, up one to No. 11, 40-7; Paris, holding at No. 14, 40-10; Weatherford, up two to No. 20, 34-10; Blinn, down four to No. 22, 28-14; and Galveston, entering at No. 25, 35-11.
