Five Highlanders earn NFCA All-Region honors
Five McLennan Softball players earned National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) NJCAA Division I West All-Region honors for the 2026 season. Olivia Garrett, Traci Lowry, Chayne Allen and Kaelani Rogers were named to the First Team while Natalie was a Second Team selection.
Garrett, a freshman right-hander from Booneville, Mississippi, has made 24 appearances in the circle, notching a 17-6 record with 169 strikeouts and a 2.25 ERA. She was selected as the NTJCAC Pitcher of the Year, First-Team All-Conference.an All-Region.
Lowry, a freshman catcher from Franklin, Texas, has recorded a .524 average with 15 doubles, six triples, three home runs and 38 RBI in 43 games. She was a First-Team All-Conference and All-Region selection.
Allen, an outfielder from Cypress, Texas, has played in 52 games, recording a .484 batting average with 21 RBI and 36 stolen bases. She was a First-Team All-Conference and All-Region selection.
Rogers, a freshman designated player from Carrollton, Texas, has appeared in 49 games, recording a .465 average with 21 doubles, eight home runs and 47 RBI. She was a First-Team All-Conference and All-Region selection.
Klenda, a sophomore right-hander from Wichita, Kansas, has made 27 appearances in the circle, notching a 16-6 record with a 2.64 ERA and 62 strikeouts. She was a Second-Team All-Conference.
