Highlassies hold steady at No. 9

The Highlassies remained at No. 9 in this week's NJCAA women's basketball poll with an overall record 21-2.

South Georgia Tech and Eastern Florida State continue to hold the top two spots in the women's poll. Blinn (Texas) moved up one spot to No. 3 this week, followed by Southern Idaho at No. 4 and Trinity Valley (Texas) at No. 5.

Collin, a conference opponent of McLennan, remained at No. 8 this week. The Highlassies host Collin at The Highlands Saturday at 2 p.m. Grayson, also a conference opponent, moved up two spots to No. 21, while New Mexico, a Region V opponent, is up two spots to No. 23.

The Highlassies continue conference play Wednesday, traveling to Brownwood to face Cisco at 6 p.m.
