McLennan flusters Fillies for road win
McLennan Women's Basketball went on the road to Carthage, Texas, and will return back to Waco with a 77-53 win over the Panola Fillies.
The game was close throughout the first half with 10th-ranked McLennan leading by nine at the end of the first quarter, 23-14, and then pushing the lead to 12 at halftime, 43-31. McLennan broke the game open in the third quarter, extending the lead to 21, 68-47, and holding on for the lop-sided victory in the fourth.
Jalayah Ingram led McLennan with 19 points. Kennedi Ard and Charnelle Hoof added 18 and 14, respectively.
