No. 6 McLennan bounces back to defeat Frank Phillips
The sixth-ranked McLennan women's basketball squad bounced back into the win column with a 73-53 victory over the Frank Phillips Lady Plainsmen this afternoon in Borger.
McLennan led Frank Phillips by seven at the end of the first, 27-20 and extended the lead to 15 at halftime, 44-29. McLennan continued to push, outscoring the Lady Plainsmen 15-12 in the third to lead by 18. McLennan then held on the fourth to win by 20.
Lanaijha Johnson paced McLennan with 22 points and Akeelah Wade scored 11.
