McLennan golfer, basketball player sign Letters of Intent

McLennan Community College men's basketball player Rashaan Surles and women's golfer Katy Colson signed National Letters of Intent this afternoon at The Highlands gym on the McLennan campus.
 
Surles, a sophomore guard from Flossmoor, Illinois, signed with Mississippi Valley State University. He appeared in 30 games for the Highlanders, averaging 4.1 points, 2.4 assists and 2.4 rebounds per game.

Colson, a red-shirt freshman from Gatesville, signed with the University of St. Thomas in Houston. Colson missed the 2013-14 season due to a back injury and has competed in four tournament this year.
