Highlassies Golf among top-5 in Golfstat rankings

The McLennan Community College women's golf team is ranked third in the region and fifth nationally in the latest Golfstat rankings.

Nationally, Seminole State (Florida) is in the top spot followed by Daytona State (Florida) in second. Ranger, a Region V opponent for the Highlassies, and Barton County (Kansas) sit in third and fourth, respectively. Western Texas, also from Region V, is ranked seventh.

The Highlassies wrapped up their fall season Oct. 16 at the NAIA Fall Preview, finishing as the top two-year program in the field and ninth place overall.
