Hryniewiecka-Irwin earns region award

McLennan golfer Aaliyah Hryniewiecka-Irwin was selected as the NJCAA Region 5 Golfer of the Week for Oct. 12-19.

The freshman from Holmfirth, England, finished third individually at the Battle of the Belt at the Hot Springs Country Club in Arkansas. She shot rounds of 75-75-72 for a total of 217 at the two-day event.

McLennan finished fifth as a team with a score of 316-306-306 – 928.
