Two Highlanders earn post-season awards

McLennan women's golfers Aaliyah Hryniewiecka-Irwin and Millie Roach earned North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference awards based on their performance at the Southwest District Championship earlier this week.

Hryniewiecka-Irwin was named First-Team All-Conference and All-Region V. The freshman from Holmfirth, England, shot 74-75-74 – 223 to finish in sixth place. Roach, a sophomore from Brigg, England, was named Second-Team All-Conference after shooting 79-76-79 – 234 to finish tied for 13th place.
