The McLennan Highlanders picked up another shut-out victory as they edged out the Trinity Valley Cardinals 2-0 this evening. Katia Reyes went the complete game in the circle to get the win.
McLennan's first run came in the bottom of the fifth. Chesnee Faile singled but was out at second on a fielder's choice by Madison Hornback. Lilly Rocha singled, and Hornback scored on a single by Ellie Loveless.
The final run came in the sixth. Mikayla Tosch and Trinity Allen both singled. Both runners stole a base, and Tosch scored on a sacrifice fly by Kyla Heine.
