Highlanders sweep Player of the Week awards

McLennan Softball swept the NTJCAC Player of the Week awards for March 31-April 6.

Leftfielder Mickayla Tosch was the Softball Position Player of the Week for the second consecutive week. The sophomore from Rosenberg had a .563 batting average with a double, three triples, three home runs, 12 RBI and 10 runs scored in the four-game series against Ranger.

Freshman right-hander Landrie Harris is the Softball Pitcher of the Week. She pitched no-hitter in the 8-0 run-rule win over Ranger, allowing two walks while striking out six in five innings.
